I have been working for more than 16+ years in the Netherlands as an Online Marketing Professional and have worked for companies like Sanoma (now DPG Media), Saxo, TripAdvisor and Randstad. At TripAdvisor, I was granted stocks as part of my compensation package. This was my first introduction with investing in stocks. Since then, I've gradually delved deeper into this field, finding immense fascination in researching various companies. Through this period, I've realized my inclination as a long-term investor, concentrating on robust companies with significant competitive advantages.

My investment strategy is:
1. Looking for high-quality companies (based on our fundamental scoring model).
2. Buy these companies at a fair price (based on our valuation scoring model).
3. Stick to these companies for the long run even during hard times.
4. Only sell when the thesis is broken.

I currently own 35 stocks.

The sector I mainly focus on is the Tech sector (approx 50% of my portfolio) because I strongly believe in trends like AI, Cybersecurity and Cloud. Other trends/sectors I focus on are EV, Renewable Energy and Healthcare.

The biggest mistake I made in the past is that I bought shares of companies I not 100% believed in and bought more to lower the average price.
From this I learned two things:
1. Only buy high-quality companies and companies you 100% believe in
2. If you don't do rule 1, you will or lose money or you will not hold your shares during tougher times (and also lose money).
