I started my career in the media industry 17 years ago, initially as a Digital Sales Expert at companies like Elsevier and De Telegraaf. Eventually, I landed at NRC, where I became responsible for revenue from all media agencies in the Netherlands.
About 6/7 years ago, my interest in investing sparked, initially driven by the crypto hype. However, I realized crypto wasn't my preference, but I found stocks intriguing due to the underlying businesses with profits and free cash flows. That's when my passion for investing began, and it hasn't waned since then.

I approach investing by first identifying strong companies through our fundamental scoring model.
Once identified, I purchase these companies at reasonable prices using our valuation scoring model. I maintain a long-term perspective, weathering challenges, and only consider selling when the original investment thesis is broken.

I currently own between 30-35 stocks.

I primarily focus on the tech sector, which includes diverse areas such as cybersecurity, fintech and semiconductors. Additionally I also focus on sectors such as renewable energy and EV. I believe that in the present, no company can thrive without integrating technology, essentially leading to a future where all businesses become tech-driven.

The biggest mistake I made in the past was investing in companies with compelling narratives but no profits, free cash flow and sometimes even no revenue. I incurred significant losses on those investments. However, going through that phase was crucial for me to discover which investment strategy suits me best.
