๐๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป I started investing when I got my first job out of college with Vanguard. Looking back, I was fortunate that such a high-character company took a chance on a history major with no business or investments background. From there, I worked my way toward a research focus, eventually becoming an analyst with The Motley Fool in 2006. I moved into the institutional research side of the business with Morningstar in 2011 and then went onto two buyside roles from 2015 to 2023. I'm currently managing my personal capital, publishing the Flyover Stocks newsletter, and teaching finance at the University of Dayton where I also serve as the advisor of a student-run fund.
