When I was in 8th grade, I helped my economics teacher, Tom Rinehart, track his stock portfolio on Yahoo Finance. My job was to report what his stocks were doing each morning, and that daily routine sparked my love for the stock market. He talked a lot about Warren Buffett, which led me to start studying Buffett's strategies on my own at a young age.
Since then, I've worked in the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C., launched an investing newsletter that was later acquired, and served as Head of Research for a firm. I now run a new newsletter, do business development for a lobbying firm part-time, and have several side business ventures.

I'm primarily a value investor, but I'd describe myself as a "Value 3.0" investorโa concept popularized by Adam Seessel. In simple terms, Value 1.0 was Benjamin Graham's approach of buying cigar butts, while Value 2.0 evolved with Warren Buffett focusing on quality businesses. Value 3.0 takes that framework and applies it to tech stocks, recognizing that companies with strong growth potential can also offer value. Thatโs my long-term strategy.
I also incorporate a swing trade strategy focused on catalysts within a 3-12 month timeframe, which allows me to take advantage of short-term opportunities.

I currently own 7 stocks.

Technology and geo-politics. I have a background in politics so if I believe politics will create a catalyst then I'll swing trade it. Argentina election is an example.

For swing trades, my highest conviction stock is Marathon Digital $MARA. Itโs an undervalued Bitcoin proxy, and based on previous Bitcoin cycles, I expect another strong year for Bitcoinโand Marathon is positioned to benefit from that. I believe itโs set to break out in 2025.
For long-term investments, Tesla $TSLA is one of my top picks, but not because of the car business. Iโm more excited about their autonomous tech, which they can license, and their advancements in physical AI with humanoid robots. However, Tesla is such a common answer that Iโll give you another high-conviction pick: Applied Digital $APLD. Nvidia recently invested in them, and theyโre building data centers specifically tailored for AI companies. Data centers will be critical for AIโs future, and I love their focus on that niche.
One of my highest-conviction stocks that I donโt currently own is Oklo Energy $OKLO. I absolutely love their vision, but Iโm waiting to buy at a single-digit price point because they wonโt generate revenue until 2027. Oklo is a nuclear energy company with Sam Altman and President Trumpโs incoming Secretary of Energy on the board. To put it into perspective, ChatGPT alone consumes the daily energy of 180,000 householdsโthatโs completely unsustainable. Nuclear energy solves this problem, and I believe Oklo is the future of energy.

In July 2020, my dumbass was able to correlate Marathon Digital's $MARA correlation with Bitcoin before the general public and Wallstreet did. I got in at $0.90 cents and sold it at $52. I got back in it at $13 in September 2024 for another swing trade.

Iโve made tons of mistakesโmostly from sheer stupidity.
One that stands out is Meta $META. I bought in at $122 during the sell-off in 2022 after the market punished Zuckerbergโs VR pivot. I sold around $350, which seemed like a smart profit at the time. Today, the stock sits at $610. The mistake wasnโt taking profitsโit was forgetting that Meta is a Value 3.0 company, the kind of stock I could hold for the next 10 years and sleep well at night. Selling too early on a long-term winner is a mistake I deeply regret.
