Introduction
I didn’t start in finance because it was trendy. I started because I wanted freedom.
My journey began at university with side hustles and small ventures, long before titles and corner offices. That path led me to Deloitte and KPMG, where I learned how businesses actually work, how decisions are made, how capital is allocated, and where cracks form beneath polished narratives.
I’m a Chartered Certified Accountant, a Fellow Member of ACCA Global, and a graduate of UK business schools. Accounting taught me the language of business. Investing taught me how power and opportunity compound over time.
I started investing in 2012 with a simple belief: owning great businesses beats chasing hype. The road wasn’t smooth. There were mistakes. Costly lessons. Long nights learning, reading, refining. But that’s how edge is built. After more than a decade, I walked away from corporate life, not to slow down, but to go all in.
Today, through Yiazou, I share clear, independent research designed to cut through noise and help investors think for themselves. My work has been featured on Forbes, Nasdaq, Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, and other leading platforms, generating millions of views worldwide. My public stock coverage consistently ranks among the top 0.1% experts on TipRanks.
I left the corporate grind to build financial freedom on my own terms.
What is your investment strategy?
High-conviction investing focused on asymmetric risk/reward. I look for misunderstood, emerging winners and disruptors with developing or strong moats, long growth runways, and the potential to compound over time.
How many stocks are currently held in your portfolio?
A concentrated portfolio, typically 8–15 positions.
Which sectors do you mainly focus on?
AI infrastructure, Neoclouds, Semiconductors, and selective energy and industrials.
What are your 3 highest conviction stocks?
$NBIS - Nebius
$EOSE - EOS Energy
$KRKNF - Kraken Robotics
What is the stock in your portfolio with the highest return?
$PLTR - Palantir, initiated early and held with high conviction.
What is the biggest investing mistake you have made?
Selling quality businesses too early and underestimating how long compounding can work in your favor.
If you could give one piece of advice to investors, what would it be?
If you can’t hold a stock through volatility, you don’t understand the business well enough.
