The CNN Fear & Greed Index, which measures investor sentiment, has been stuck in "Extreme Fear" territory since February 25, with a current reading of 15. Meanwhile, the VIX Index, known as the market's "fear barometer", has risen to 27.4, showing more uncertainty and volatility. Yesterday, it even reached 29.33.
